Co-operative Education and Internship
Are you a student who wants to gain some work experience and learn valuable programming or graphic skills?
By the end of your work-term, you will acquire the skills of a Junior Website Designer. Actually, many Maknet employees started their careers this way so the real-world experience and skills you will be getting are quite valuable.
Since 1996, more than 40 students have come through our doors!

Requirements:

Graphic Designer
We are looking for a graphic designer that can design a professional and user-friendly website for our clients.
The ideal candidate must be proficient with the following applications:
- PC and MAC platforms
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator

Junior Website Developer
We are looking for an entry-level website developer who can program rock-solid web sites for our clients.
You will be working in a young, dynamic environment with friendly, knowledgeable coworkers.
The ideal candidate must be proficient with the following:
- MS Word, Excel
- PHP, MySQL
- HTML with a text-editor
- Fluency in English
Optional Skills:
- Perl, VB, .NET, ASP, COM+, UNIX / DOS shell
- FreeBSD, Win2k, apache, bind, qmail, PLESK, IIS
